W1 4K AV over IP Encoder Decoder

Tired of cross-referencing a hundred near-identical IP encoders, decoders and matrices just to build one system?

Meet W1. One box does it all — 4K AVoIP encoder, decoder, KVM and multiview on the 1Gb network you already have.

No layers. Just flow.

W1 is encoder, decoder, KVM and multiview in one box, on the 1Gb network you already have. No stacks of boxes, no layers of software — just technology that gets out of the way, so your team sees more, shares faster, and works together without friction.

< 50 ms latency 4K60 4:4:4 KVM + multiview built in runs on 1Gb PoE

What others build with a system, W1 does with one box.

Traditional IP-KVM is a stack: encoders for the sources, decoders for the screens, a matrix to switch them, user stations for the operators, and a management layer to hold it all together. Every layer is another part to size, buy, wire and maintain — and another reason you need a specialist to design it.

W1 collapses that stack into one symmetric unit that any integrator can specify, install and scale on the 1Gb infrastructure already in the building. Same job — a fraction of the parts, the cost and the complexity.

One device. Three things that flow.

The signal flows.

One box is both encoder and decoder, switchable in software, in copper or fiber. It distributes 4K60 4:4:4 video, audio and KVM over the standard 1Gb managed switches you already run — no 10G upgrade, no proprietary fabric, no infrastructure bill. Need another source or another screen? Add a W1. Nothing else in the system has to change.

The work flows.

Build multiview layouts of up to 36 windows right on the operator's screen, by drag-and-drop. Resize and reposition windows freely, save layouts as presets, and switch between them in a single gesture. It isn't a fixed quad — it's a real, flexible canvas, with no client to install and nothing new to learn.

The team flows.

Push any source to the video wall in one click, so the whole room sees what matters the moment it matters. Operators share feeds, layouts and views across accounts and work together in real time. The technology stays out of the way; the team stays in sync.

One network, three simple steps.

Professional AV-over-IP usually means a project. Separate encoders for the sources, decoders for the screens and a matrix to switch them, plus a user station at every desk and management software on top — different parts to specify, stock and wire, and a quote you often can't even build without the vendor's own engineer.

W1 replaces all of that with one device. A single compact unit works as encoder or decoder, in copper or fiber, and adds full KVM control and multiview layouts of up to 36 windows — all over standard 1Gb switches. The same box sits at every point of the system. You configure it once, and from then on your operators run everything from a semi-transparent on-screen menu. One box instead of a stack of layers.

Capture.

W1 encoders take in HDMI feeds from workstation PCs, SCADA and VMS servers, media players and collaboration platforms. IP cameras and other H.264/H.265 IP sources stream directly into the system over the same network — no encoder needed.

Distribute.

Video, audio and KVM travel together over a standard 1Gb managed switch — kept isolated and secure, with no specialized networking required.

Command.

W1 decoders drive operator screens and video walls. A single control PC accessing the W1 Control Box configures the system once. From then on, operators work entirely from the on-screen menu — no user stations, and no deep IT mapping during shifts.

W1 on-screen KVM cockpit — semi-transparent OSD, drag-and-drop multiview, push-to-video-wall

Your whole workspace, on the screen in front of you.

In a control room, the job isn't running the AV — it's seeing what matters and sharing it fast. Other systems put layers between the operator and that. W1 removes them: no layers, just flow.

Log in as an operator and a semi-transparent KVM cockpit appears over your screen. You see every encoder and PC source you're authorized to reach. With a simple drag-and-drop, you build your live layout on-screen — assign any source to any window in seconds. Save several preconfigured layouts, each with its own set of sources, and switch between them instantly by dragging a layout onto your canvas. Need to share a feed with the room? Hit Push to Video Wall and that source goes straight to the shared display.

You and your fellow operators work cooperatively in real time, sharing critical feeds and insights across the workspace — acting faster, seeing smarter, and collaborating better, all from one integrated, on-screen interface.

Key capabilities, all in the same box.

Drag-and-drop multiview layouts

Create and manage full-screen and multiview layouts directly on screen with an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. No external software, no complex setup — log in and start building your workspace.

Save & switch layouts

Save multiple custom layouts with their assigned sources and switch between them instantly. Adapt to changing scenarios in seconds with a single drag-and-drop action.

Fast video-wall push

Highlight critical sources by pushing any feed to the video wall in one click. Keep the team aligned and focused with shared, real-time visual information — exactly when it matters.

Collaborative control

Work in a connected operator environment. Share sources, layouts and views across operator accounts for better coordination, faster response and true team efficiency.

KVM seat management

Full keyboard, video and mouse control in one-to-one and one-to-many configurations. Manage remote computing resources as easily as if they were on your own desk, with OS-independent USB HID support for Windows, macOS and Linux.

IPC & camera integration

Native H.264/H.265 support integrates IP cameras and security systems directly. Display live camera feeds alongside computing sources for unified monitoring.

Audio embedding & de-embedding

Independent audio routing with HDMI embedding and de-embedding over balanced analog I/O. Route audio separately from video to feed local reinforcement or program feeds, for flexible audio in any installation.

Built-in scalability

Point-to-point extension, matrix and video-wall modes, multi-screen splicing, character and subtitle overlay, user-rights management and an HDMI local loop-out — all in the same unit.

Built for the projects in the middle.

W1 is the smart choice for the many installations — control rooms, monitoring walls, trading floors, broadcast studios, engineering and design desks, live events and e-sports — that need professional AV-over-IP with KVM and multiview, want it simple, and run on standard 1Gb networks. You get the capability without the cost and complexity — the layers — of a high-end matrix system you don't need.

Honest by design.
